I’m Bonnie Hillman Shay, founder and owner of Mariposa Photo Organizing established in 2007. I’m methodical by nature, and a detective at heart, so photo organizing is my dream come true. I enjoy the process of determining the correct chronological order, identifying the people in photographs, and curating a family’s legacy. Most importantly, I love learning the unique life stories of each client, getting immersed in a family’s history through their photos; learning their backstories, and making their photo and video collection shareable. Upon completion of a project, I often joke that I should be invited to the next family reunion as I know the entire family tree!
Our photos are such personal extensions of our lives that many people feel obligated to handle photo organizing themselves even if they do not have the time or the knack for organizing. I know how special your photos, videos, and stories are to you and your family. I am honored to curate a family’s photo and video collection and handle those photos as if they were my own.
I was born with the organizing gene and managed a photography business for 20 plus years, giving me the experience and talent to tell my clients’ stories through photos and videos. I love traveling down memory lane with my clients and making the process fun, rewarding and invaluable. Hiring me allows you to spend your time enjoying your memories and making new ones!
