One of my favorite pro tips for helping people move quickly through the first stages of photo organizing is the Two Second Rule. It’s easy to become overwhelmed just looking through the photos, rather than organizing them. Use the Two Second Rule to help you stay on track. Don’t let yourself handle any photo longer than two seconds. Pick it up, make a decision about whether it ought to be discarded or put in a specific category to keep. Then set it in the appropriate pile. You will be amazed at the sense of accomplishment you will feel as you progress in tackling this project.
