As mentioned above, photos can be damaged by conditions that are too hot, cold, humid or dry. Don’t keep your precious photos in the attic, basement, or garage. Bring all your photos and videos inside your home, perhaps stored in a closet or under a bed. A good rule of thumb is, if you wouldn’t be comfortable living in the environment, neither will your photos. Be sure to store your printed photos in acid-free, photo-safe containers.
