The older we get, the more often we let milestones slip by without notice. How silly! We should be certified, professional celebrators by the time we hit middle age. Practice makes perfect. Frank and I celebrated his recent birthday by going to a restaurant together, taking time to reconnect and recognize how thankful we both are for his life. A few years ago, I hit a personal cycling milestone during a ride to end MS. Frank, a more experienced cyclist, rode much further than I did that day but he was still thrilled for my personal success. This photo of me feeling tired but proud reminds me of that goal met and Frank’s support. Remember to enjoy your own milestones and personal goals as you always do for your family and friends.
