One of my favorite tips for helping people move quickly through the first stages of photo organizing is the Two Second Rule. It’s easy to become overwhelmed looking through your photos, rather than organizing them. Don’t let yourself stop on any photo longer than two seconds. Scroll to a photo, then quickly make a decision about whether it ought to be discarded or not. Delete or keep, then scroll on. You will be amazed at the sense of accomplishment you will feel as you progress quickly through your gallery. Click to read how this same rule can be used for printed photos as well.
