I named my business Mariposa which means butterfly in Spanish because just like a caterpillar becomes a beautiful butterfly, I transform my client’s boxes of old photos into a beautiful digital photo collection that they can easily share. One way to make your photo collection more manageable is to release the photos you don’t need. I’ve always said, “Don’t organize what you can discard!” Ditch the bad photos as well as all second-rate duplicates. Keep the best of the best and do not be afraid to delete or discard. Remember, you are not erasing your memories by editing your story. Rather, you are creating a renewed, functional collection to tell your story.
