One positive outcome from the current crisis is the reinforcement of my pride in my community. I live in a fantastic town with amazing neighbors, and I’ll bet you do too. Do you know someone with a good story? How about calling them to ask about the story. Perhaps you are pretty good at making online photo books but your amazing neighbor isn’t. You can help! Or here’s another idea I received from one of my friends. When people text or email her digital photos that show the current situation, she is saving them to her online photo collection. She adds a caption to each photo that documents what is happening and how people are managing through these extraordinary times. It will be a collection to share with her grandchildren someday when they want to know what is was like during the COVID-19 pandemic that includes her community.
