One of the best ways to spring clean and organize your printed photographs is to remember your ABCs. Start by sorting your photos into A, B, and C piles.
A is for Album. These photos are the best of the best! You would mourn them if they were lost or destroyed. These A-listers definitely belong in an album! You will want to digitize, back up and display these photographs.
B is for Box. These photos are the extras that support your best. You aren’t quite ready to part with them. These photos will be archived for safe keeping, but not necessarily digitized.
C is for Can, as in trash can. You CAN definitely toss them! These photos can have terrible lighting, show people with their eyes closed or heads cut off. By letting them go, you allow your BEST photos to truly shine and tell your story.
